You are Important

We are currently faced with an important task of changing public opinion, as we saw a majority of Michiganders believe abortion should be legal, regardless of whether they would have one themselves or not, when Proposal 3 was passed.

We need to both reshape public opinion on the life issue and show women facing the abortion decision that there is a more hopeful and courageous choice for life.

Those two goals are our priority, which we work towards by educating on the dangers of abortion and the sanctity of life, promoting pro-life candidates, and connecting women to life-affirming resources.

The situation in Michigan is: there is no requirement for abortion providers to report data, meaning no public abortion data available from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and there is no standard health and safety regulations for abortion clinics.

Because of a lawsuit, the informed consent law has been enjoined and is NOT in force. There is an appeal that was filed, but in the meantime, there is no 24-hour waiting period, no standardized information given to women prior to an abortion, no ultrasound viewing requirement, no abortion state informed consent website, and non-doctors can now perform abortions. Abortion clinics are no longer licensed as well.

And the abortion pill can now be mailed to women. Planned Parenthood and Hey, Jane now operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online here in Michigan.

This year’s elections are extremely important because with a prolife majority in the State House and State Senate and a prolife Governor we can reverse two very important laws that the proabortion legislators under our abortion obsessed Governor passed.

We will be able to pass laws that would require abortion clinics to be licensed and impact other areas of the law concerning unborn life, like abortion reporting and abortion complication reporting.
